More Dress Fitting Pics!

Nice chins.
Where's a bedpost when I need it???

You're checking out my rack, aren't you?

Will someone please help me hold these puppies up???

In case you're wondering, no, this is not the veil I'm buying.
Mine will be waist-length.

Olé!

Awwww. :-) She's gettin' murried.

Wow - gorgeous!!! You've got stays or something to, er, hold up your "puppies", right? It's always been a mystery to me as to how some of those strapless gowns stay up... I have never been brave enough to try one.

Sayre - I'm planning my wedding now too and wondered the same thing at first. I've never been comfortable in a strapless dress (and I don't even have much in the way of "puppies" to worry about - but then that's the problem: nothing much to hold up the dress!) but it's different in a wedding dress. They are fitted exactly to your body and they really hold you in. And dangit, they should - when the "cheap" gowns start at $1000, I expect to have no wardrobe malfunctions from a piece of clothing that expensive!!

Julie - you look gorgeous, my favourite is that last photo in you post. Beautiful! You look so calm and happy.

P.S. Our best friends are getting married TODAY and I'm bringing my trusty camera along - expect a post soon with wedding details :)

Oooh another Sunday wedding! That makes me happy, knowing that other people get married on Sundays and I'm not a total freak of nature.

And p.s. I'll also be purchasing a good solid boustier to suck me in and hoist those puppies up! I didn't buy one before the first fitting because I wasn't sure what kind to get, but now I know and I'll have one by the next fitting at the beginning of August. WEEEE!!!

Forget the "Chins." You look great. My wife has the same chin. Don't miss the forest because you are staring at a tree.

You look great!

I was curious about the "puppies" too. I've always thought it was tempting fate a little too much to wear something without straps, but it sounds like you ladies have it all figured out. I guess I've just been asking the wrong questions over the years =D

Very nice pics. And, yes, I was checking out your rack...out of jelousy because mine is too small to hold up a great dress like that. :)
